I’ll Remember for You explores the challenges and emotional impact of caring for someone with Alzheimer’s, including the frustration of circular conversations and the fear of losing one’s own memory. Set on the Southside of San Antonio, this heartfelt one-woman show follows a middle-aged Latina caring for her mother with Alzheimer’s. Blending humor and heartbreak, it explores the complexities of mother-daughter relationships, cultural expectations, and the emotional weight of caregiving in the Latino community. A moving story of love, memory, and the ties that connect us all.
