CHILDREN’S CHRISTMAS PRODUCTION – December 11-14, 2025
Fort Stockton Community Theatre’s Paisano Players are proud to present A STORYBOOK CHRISTMAS, featuring performances of An Enchanted Bookshop Christmas and Christmas in the Land of Oz.
AN ENCHANTED BOOKSHOP CHRISTMAS
It’s four days before Christmas and scatterbrained bookshop owner Miss Margie is thrilled to welcome two very special guests — her serious-minded sister Ellen and book-loving niece Annabelle. Ellen was recently laid off from her position as an astronomy professor, and she’s certain she’ll never find a job again. Her luck changes, however, when high-tech billionaire Philip Brantley stops in at the shop and Margie convinces him to hire Ellen for his new space project.
With Ellen out shopping, Margie has a brainstorm to wrap the bookmark that Philip wrote his phone number on and give it to Ellen as a Christmas present. After all, what could possibly go wrong? Ha!
When the present disappears, it’s up to beloved come-to-life book characters to solve the mystery of the missing bookmark and save the day for Ellen — all without giving away their magical existence. It’s a hilarious, heartwarming tale that reminds us that the best gifts don’t come wrapped in pretty paper and bows.
CHRISTMAS IN THE LAND OF OZ
The Wicked Witch of the West becomes the grinch of this delightful holiday play when she steals Christmas from Munchkinland. It takes all beloved Ozians — Dorothy and Toto, Scarecrow, Tin Man, the Lion, and the Munchkins – to bring the yuletide holiday back. In the process, the Tin Man recovers his sense of humor, the lonely Lion finds a lady companion, and Dorothy finds the spirit of Christmas to take back to Kansas for Auntie Em and Uncle Henry.
Thursday, December 11 – 7:00 pm Friday, December 12 – 7:00 pm Saturday, December 13 – 7:00 pm Sunday, December 14 – 2:00 pm
December 14, 2025 @ 2:00 pm – 4:00 pm
