Fort Stockton Community Theatre is taking registrations for the second annual Be Cool/Stay Cool Summer Theatre Camp offered Monday through Friday, June 14 – 25, from 2 – 4 pm at the Nelson Street Theatre. The registration deadline is Friday, June 4.
Ruben Gonzales will be leading the camp for students kindergarten through eighth grade. Three skits from Mark Twain’s “The Adventures of Tom Sawyer” will be performed at the end of the camp.
The cost per student is $30.00 for the two-week session. Discounts are available for two or more students from the same family. A light snack will be provided each afternoon. Students will learn to feel comfortable on stage before an audience and will learn to express themselves clearly in various characterizations.
Fort Stockton Community Theatre is excited to offer the young people of our community an opportunity to Be Cool while they learn theatre skills that will help them Stay Cool enjoying the performing arts. We are very proud of the talented young people who have worked with us in productions through the years and are eager to encourage other young people to join the fun of live theatre.
